How exciting is this ?? Rich Harris and I will be leaving for Italy and Croatia on May 2. We will be visiting Rome, Venice, Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik. We will be covering a considerable amount of miles during our visit so will be utilizing several modes of transportation. We start out with United Airlines, then Ryan Air, TrenItalia (Train), Rail Croatia, Jadrolinija ferry, Croatian Air and finally return on United Airlines. In addition to managing the various modes of travel and the luggage restrictions of each, I will be navigating menu selections to avoid gluten.
Our accommodations have all been reserved via the Internet and are small bed & breakfast establishments. Each should be very unique and we will keep you informed with pictures and text about our travels, accommodations, the incredible sights, food and wine.
